Member of Congress representing California's 30th District. Pool shark. Pro: bikes, trains, housing, single payer healthcare & induction stoves!
I visited Fresenius Medical Care in Burbank to see their important dialysis facility. Dialysis is a lifeline for those living with end-stage renal disease or severe kidney injuries and many patients rely on Medi-Cal to cover their treatment. (1/2)

Holiday travel can be a headache, but it should never be something you have to fear. My new bipartisan Safe and Affordable Transit Act will help make sure you and your family get where you are going – safe and sound.

I’m excited to announce that the winning app from my first Congressional App Challenge is SyncRide! Created by high school students Andrew Oh, Hannah Lee, Ginna Kim, and Aaron Kim, SyncRide was designed to make ride planning easier, cheaper, and better for the environment. (1/2)

I fight for clean air & against Trump’s decimation of environmental protections because of disastrous policies like this.

We make America healthy again by fighting for clean air & water. I’ve spent my career working to protect the Earth & the humans who rely on it, & I am more committed than ever.

As a longtime advocate for clean water access, getting to see the inner workings of the Crescenta Valley Water District reaffirmed why I’ve been fighting for this issue for so long.

Clean water is not a luxury few should have access to – it is a basic necessity that every Angeleno needs. (1/2)

Families in my district are counting on this relief. Speaker Johnson must bring the vote to the floor now before it’s too late.

If he delays, the price hikes that hit millions of Americans will be on his and House Republicans’ shoulders.
BREAKING: Four House Republicans have just forced a vote on healthcare subsidies.

Four GOP members of Congress have signed on to the Democrats' discharge petition, and now a mandatory vote on extending ACA tax credits must be held.

It’s hard to make Pasadena’s spectacular City Hall look any better, but this year’s Christmas tree lighting made that possible!

Trump’s complete & utter disregard for two incredible Americans being brutally murdered is almost too disgusting to believe. Instead of honoring their lives, he turned their deaths into a political punchline and a personal attack.

So I’ll remind him of his own words, after Charlie Kirk was killed:

I am heartbroken. A horrific attack at a Hanukkah gathering in Australia has left at least 10 people dead, and just miles from my district, a California home was shot at for simply displaying Hanukkah decorations.

This is not normal. 🧵

There is too much corruption in government. Members of Congress shouldn’t be trading individual stocks. I just signed the discharge petition to force a vote on a ban. It’s time to put the public’s trust ahead of private gain.
