Two weeks in and I'm still wholly consumed by grief.
Last week my sweet little dog passed away. Even though we knew she was living on borrowed time due to her cancer the whole thing was very sudden and unexpected. She was simply fine until she wasn't and then we had to make the hardest choice to let her go.

Went down a rabbit hole looking for a new tote bag. Portland Leather Goods was highly recommended but the packaging and finish of the bags is lackluster for the price point. But I still haven't found another bag that quite fits the specific needs I have so I might roll the dice.

Results of my endoscopy biopsies came back negative for all the usual suspects. Which begs the question: what the fuck?

Had my first endoscopy done today. It went great if you don't count the multiple, deeply uncomfortable tries to get the IV into one of my apparently very dehydrated and shriveled up little baby veins. My hands are wrecked. But otherwise it was a breeze.

I have no where else to talk about what I'm going through with my dog so unfortunately this place is it.

I've been on a super restricted diet the past 3.5 months to "lifestyle change" away the horrific acid reflux I've been having. I can tell you it 100% didn't fix the reflux but it did absolutely destroy my will to live.

I almost lost my dad to a heart attack last week. He likely had it while sitting on my couch on Thanksgiving but he just thought it was indigestion. And then, so he wouldn't worry my mom, waited 6 days before deciding he felt off. I ran over, he said chest discomfort and I called 911.

After a ton of discussion with our wonderful vet we made the tough decision to just go with palliative care for our little dog. Everyone who knows us knows we'd move heaven and earth for this dog and spend any amount if we knew it would help. But all we can do is keep her comfortable this time.

My dog has cancer. She is the light of my life and the reason I get up in the morning. I'm devastated.

My WoW guild bank that we've had for as long as guild banks have been a thing was completely gutted with this bug Blizz had. 6 tabs almost completely emptied out. Mounts, pets, rare mats and mogs, things no longer in the game, you name it, all completely gone
