During spooky season and beyond, residents can bring recycling to the Transfer Station at 100 Hedgehog Mountain Road and place it in the single-sort compactor. All recycling goes to ecomaine. Recyclables do not need to be separated.

Current drought conditions have Freeport classified as Severe, meaning crop or pasture losses are likely, & wells may begin to run low. Water conservation & fire safety need to be a top priority, especially with continuing above-normal temperatures extending the fire weather season. Thank you!
