Well, the whole #F1 gang is here now....
I’ve known stress in my life. 10 years at sea, careers in tippiest of top end hospitality and now corporate law but nothing (and I mean nothing) tests you like your first toddlers birthday cake. BEHOLD MY OPUS 🙂‍↕️

Off to find gin and bed.

@trientertainment.bsky.social -how good that the true OG of #SlowTV @timeteam.bsky.social is back on YouTube with new shows. Transported back to grandparents front room: cross-legged, full of Sunday roast & transfixed by epic power struggles between Geophyiscs and Phil ‘in the field’ Harding. Bliss.

I’ve never done a #TreeOfTheDay before, but this example on my way to work was too strange to pass by!

It was *almost* worth not watching the #QatarGP live to swear my way through this with mrs freddie. Not pictured is toddler lurking out of shot ready to lumberjack it down (again).

Some of the pictures coming out of Tbilisi are incredible.

Photojournalism at its very best.

Both of these photos were taken by AFP photographer, Giorgi Arjevanidze.

I'm already looking forward to all the nostalgic posts for the current format of #Bluesky handles when they inevitably simplify the display in 18months or so...

Did you know there were more cinemas open in the UK in 2023 than in 2018? Or that in 2018, they sold more tickets than in any year since 1970? I wrote about the surprisingly good health, in the circumstances, of movie-going. thecritic.co.uk/the-cinemati...

For Hugh Grant, it was another example of how the internet is destroying all we hold dear. “Fulham Road cinema closing after 94 years,” he wrote on Twitter.

Bluesky needs to work closely with UK politicians to get them set up with custom handles and DNS updates. Working with UK Parliament to set up something like @zarahsultana.members.parliament.uk would be a great step, especially with the exodus from Twitter and the concerns about impersonation.
