I feel like a heathen for this - but I found Spearhead in Space quite tedious.
The good: John Pertwee was much better than I expected! He has a Troughtonish sparkle in his performance and every scene with him was great.
The story itself was slow and predictable - less original than Holmes'...

Finishing the War Games brings an end to the black and white era - and I loved it!
I was expecting the 60s era to be boring, but instead it gave me more appreciation for Doctor Who as it is so clear how the show is rooted.

- The antibiotics perform well against post-op infection
- No more surgery or chemo
- Allowed to stand on my leg for 50% - 100% in 6 weeks
First time this year going to the hospital and getting only good news! Time to plan my Dutch Doctor Who podcast

Is there anything known about why Ben Steed is so focused on his weird toxic battle of the sexes concept?
The things his scripts make our regulars say (especially Avon this time) really takes me out of the story, it's disheartening.
Anyone here with background info?

The Space Pirates was better than I expected!
The atmosphere and the beautiful soundtrack really convey the emptiness of space. Milo Clancey hit the right note for me as well. The Doctor could've had a bigger role.
I think this one would be better regarded if it was recovered. #DoctorWho #Classic

Nice rocket idea, but I just can't stand the whispering Ice Warriors and their design.
Happy to see the BBC is getting their worth out of the foam machine, loved the foam cliffhanger. Zoë and Jamie work very well together!

Nice rocket idea, but I just can't stand the whispering Ice Warriors and their design.
