Recently finished volume 8 of the Spice and Wolf light novel and I love how great ALL the characters are and how understandably they act. Also how it doesn’t need to rely on violence or cool action moments to be incredibly entertaining or have high stakes.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to read volume 9.

I am surprised I haven't talked about it yet, but I Want to be a Wall was such a great, short read. And it's one I recommend checking out, being one of the few series featuring an explicitly ace lead which tackles relationships in a respectful, understanding, and to me relatable, way.

Apparently MyAnimeList does a wrapped now, which caused me to realize how little anime I watched last year; I will probably try to watch more this year because I like watching anime and think I didn't watch enough last year.
