GW20: I’ve taken the exciting option of shifting Minteh out for Tielemans. Rank: awful. Fun factor: surprisingly high without the dopamine rush of chasing a good rank and being hung up on variance. I built my own models to understand football numbers - interesting so far, but not FPL ready yet

GW20: I’ve taken the exciting option of shifting Minteh out for Tielemans. Rank: awful. Fun factor: surprisingly high without the dopamine rush of chasing a good rank and being hung up on variance. I built my own models to understand football numbers - interesting so far, but not FPL ready yet
GW19: Free hit time! My own model, so my expectations aren’t enormous. But I do want to see how it stacks up against Review’s FH. Hence captaining Saka 😬GL all!

The Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion has banned the Guardian’s reporters and photographers from attending matches at its home ground after it reported on allegations relating to the club’s owner, Tony Bloom.
The club notified the Guardian on Sunday to say it felt it “would be inappropriate for journalists and photographers from the Guardian to be accredited to matches at the Amex, starting from Sunday’s game against West Ham”. The move follows reports in the Guardian that have raised questions from MPs about the activities of Bloom, a billionaire who has made his money from gambling. Continue reading...

GW13: Ended up on Haaland TC over FH as I think there’s enough tilt in the MCI-LEE match to justify it. Transfers: James, Reijnders -> Timber, Cherki. The latter very much a minutes punt on the choice between Foden, Doku and Cherki. GL all!
