Love the FPL, love the Arsenal.

5 x top 1.5k finishes and they were all luck.

might go Saliba. He's not high on the DefCon charts though.

This is not remotely normal he’s on his way to being the greatest goalscorer that’s ever lived
🤖🇳🇴 Erling Haaland reaches 30 goals this season in all competitions with club and country! 53 goals in 47 games with Norway.

It’s all good fun until a penalty like that is given in a high stakes KO round

Just feels like roulette

The PL table that I think is most relevant is the “here’s the table if all goals count” table.

Through the man to get the ball. Really clear and obvious that. Good process again.

I honestly find it so funny that ‘open play xG’ has only been a thing since Arsenal started cheat coding set pieces
"If you’d tell me that we've conceded 40% of our goals from set pieces & the number one in the league has scored 60% of their goals from set pieces and we're still one point behind that team, I would probably think, 'it's not even that bad!'"

Are you trying to tell me setpieces don't count?

He’s the best player in the league in the same way Jesse Lingard and Miguel Almiron were previously the best players in the league

Absolutely fucking bizarre take

I would love to see what people said about City/Arsenal if we went to the Etihad, got a lead, and defended for our lives for 80 mins whilst taking all our attackers off for defenders.

Wait, we did it with 10 men for 45 last season and got slated for it. Oh well.
‘Arsenal have quality within the squad. Why were they playing Tranmere Rovers football for 89 minutes?’

Was this a good point for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal against Manchester City?

This is so, so good. Can identify with every word. Media and fan narratives are insane at present.

Perhaps the most exasperating part of Michael Cox's latest yelling at clouds is its conclusion praising Liverpool, in whose most recent match relevant to the context of his discussion put up 9 shots for 0.5 xG at home against an opponent missing several key players.

Think Arteta got it wrong today in the first half

Still some sight watching a Pep team with 11 men in a low block with 10 defenders + Doku with 20 to go

Not this prick again
Bernardo Silva via Sky Sports: Our biggest rival by far is Liverpool, because those are the guys that always competed with us for titles, and they also managed to win. You see a team like Arsenal getting better and being able to start fighting for title, even they haven't reached that level.
