Pastri was very disappointed, and it showed, especially on the podium, where he barely sprayed the champagne or celebrated. He looked like he couldn’t wait to get away. McLaren took a chance on the safety car and lost. Next week’s race should be exciting. Can’t wait.

When are they going to stop racing on street circuits and just build a fast, safe track? If they want a challenging course, put in some deer crossings and a water hazard with a sand trap, and you’ve got something. Maybe install quicksand in the runoff area. Now that’s a challenge.

I saw this sign at the pharmacy today. I was told local banks would no longer accept pennies to exchange after this date as well. Pennies are still legal tender. So why aren’t banks taking them? I fear the future will be a chip embedded in our arms to credit and debit our accounts. Crypto of course.

Think about this. A yacht’s yearly running costs amount to approximately 10% of its original value. For a $500 million vessel like Bezos’ Koru, that translates to an eye-watering $50 million per year. Billionaires can fund the ballroom but can’t pay fair taxes? How much is enough for them?
