@vanhollen.senate.gov I loved to hear that you visited Moon Valley Farms to talk to farmers about the impact of budget cuts and tariffs. I want to make sure you are aware that I support the return of these budgets to farmers across the nation, and Maryland, and to oppose these crippling tariffs.

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

Friends, Ace Hardware has landed on a bunch of boycott lists. Most (if not all, I don’t know) Ace stores are locally owned and operated, and the ones in Baltimore are incredibly supportive of the communities they’re in. YMMV outside Baltimore.

I’m not boycotting the Waverly one.

@vanhollen.senate.gov Are you going to vote no on Cloture and no on the Republican spending bill? If you are on the fence, know that as a one of your constituents wants you to vote no.

An article on not holding onto things too tightly, and the beauty that is the legacy that some people leave us. (Also a bit about seed saving)

Maryland! Call and/or email your representatives about this bill. Make sure to add your district and address (the one on your voter card) to ensure they know you are one of their constituents. This would make it unlawful for any city to be a sanctuary city (Baltimore is one).

Absolutely STOKED to be in the Maryland Master Gardener program this year. I get to be in a class again, work on a community project, volunteer, and connect with my community.

Breath rising within me,
circling, cool and heavy.
Air thick with longing, an aching,
a pulling to be closer.
Hovering with lips so close I can taste
the memory of us entwined as if it happened
moments ago.

Had a photoshoot today, and when plugging in the address seemingly turned off “avoid highways.” It was about 15 mins longer, but incredibly beautiful. Once I realized, I ended up just leaving highways turned off for my sunset drive back, Wardruna blaring. 🖤✨
