Dear Diary,

Today I watched the sun rise through the ephemeral gossamer strands of a moth’s wings, laden by the morning dew, it shook them clean, and in that moment I was transfixed by the beauty of this galaxy and how sacred life truly is, and how tight Ratchet must be.

Do you see the way Ratchet is standing? It’s a reaction to extreme sexual arousal. We are part-feline, us Lombaxes, and so we have a heightened state of sensation. To the casual onlooker, or defective robot, this may look like fear. I must stress that Ratchet and I are engaged here in something that goes far beyond the physical. I represent so much to him, a primal link between his Lombaxian heritage and the tantalising possibly of futures unknown. It would be hard for anyone to resist, but I can feel it. Even now, as the forces of our enemies work against, the energy between us is electric. The kinship we feel is alive, a hungering lust that is set to consume us unless we feed it first. My time of Torran IV…it shames me to admit, it has been long since I felt the caress of another. Ratchet, I can feel his virility, and his greenness. Intimacy with the feminine body is not unknown to him, but he hasn’t before enjoyed the power and physicality of an elder man’s touch, and I’m ready and, well, desperate to turn this page with him. Even now, he came all this way to Vorselon’s flagship to save me, when the Clock was so close to his grasp. I know it can’t have been just out of duty. Perhaps..before this is all over, we’ll have the night to spend together. We stand together now in the very heart of darkness an I scold him for something I once had, true hope. He hopes to be with me, for me to fill a void in his soul, and I hope to fill so much more. Gods, I haven’t felt this tension in so long, I - I don’t even know what to do with myself. I need to clear my mind before we can make for the clock. As I write this diary entry, I realise, it has to be tonight. I’ll go to him and steal him away from that stupid bucket of bolts, I’ll knock it out if I have to - it’ll be easy to do with Ratchet distracted by his desire. We’ll lay out under the stars, we’ll think about what our future will be, and we’ll be together. I’ll take him, then he can take me. - AA.
