You will overcome them eventually, so any time or energy spent on them is wasted.

So when you catch yourself having unhelpful thoughts, say "Not Today, Astaroth" and move on with enjoying life.

I enjoyed Valbrace (one of the games in UFO50) at first, but it got so much better after I whipped out my notebook, got methodical about it, and mapped some dang dungeons.

Honor his memory by doing something strange, unraveling a riddle within yourself, and working on your favorite projects.

A nice surprise this morning - thanks to @sibkin.bsky.social, Principia Apocrypha is now available in a 日本語 translation!

Time for a heart-dump.

For reasons, at least one of which should be obvious at this point in time, I've been unsure how (or whether) to touch Principia Apocrypha, for years now.

And I was only able to hit my goal of launching Foolish Endeavor by the end of 2024 by... not touching it.

I'm David Perry - if you know me, it's from Principia Apocrypha. Or at least the fine print, because I definitely should have made my name as big as the other folks whose text I composed alongside my own.😅

For years, I've been a bit of a hermit. But this year, my card is The Fool.

I don't usually place much meaning on the New Year, but this one hits different.

Last year I left my job software engineering, for multiple reasons, but a big one was to free up time to get serious about finishing and sharing the many games I've whittled away on over many years.

I now speak Foolish Endeavor Games into existence (coming in just under the wire to fulfill my self-set goal to launch in 2024 😅).
