My response to spam label:
I want to follow everyone on BS. Isn't the point of social to expand your network, to view more points of view, to experience other people on that platform? The best test of a service would be to let a user exp. ALL it offers.
My appeal to the Spam label. Fingers crossed the @moderation.bsky.app team sees the value in the experiment.

lol we’ve just been given the oft coveted “Spam” label by the bluesky moderation team, which honestly, is a fair moderation action. We’ll see if it hinders the experiment going forward.

Watching with interest
This experiment is all about seeing if this platform will allow someone to follow everyone who is on it. It's testing the limits of a social network. It's also just a bit of fun. This really has never been attempted before. Do you think its possible?

2. If I keep following below the hourly/daily rate limit there is little strain on the system itself
3. Bluesky is great because feeds can be so customizable

There are a couple of issues: 1. Users will not want the follows since they qualify as spam 2. Performance degrades overall for the network when you make too many follows 3. Your own experience breaks and the following feed no longer functions effectively past a certain threshold.

It doesn’t take as long as you think. It’s really not that bad once you get a rhythm going and a few calluses built up 😂
