Unfortunate news:

My laptop (the device i use to code my app) has officially decided it no longer wants to work. I'm going to have to save for a replacement.

Due to the fact im living on SSI, this may take a while. I'm so sorry, all :(

Life just... happens

Well, today I realized I did something all ADHDers can relate to...

I forgot to post for several days in a row.

Will probably switch to weekly posts from now on.

Anyway, FocusFlowADHDApp is almost done! If you signed up for the beta, there will be a survey coming to see if you're still in!

Sitting down to work = mental marathon. Why does it take so much energy?
Tried a “launch routine”: 30 seconds of music + stretch. Now I’m typing.

Time blindness hits hard. Where did the day go?
Set a midday check-in alarm. Gave myself a reality anchor.

Procrastination isn’t laziness—it’s fear dressed as distraction.
Today I wrote down why I was stuck. Naming it helped me move past it.

Switching tasks = brain reboot. Every time, I lose 10+ minutes of momentum.
I tried color-coding my focus blocks. Fewer switches = more done.
June 4, 2025 at 5:07 PM
To-do lists = anxiety triggers. So many steps, no idea where to land.
Today I tried picking just one thing. Finished it. Felt like a win.

Starting tasks feels impossible. Just staring at the screen like it'll start for me. 🙃
But today I set a 2-minute timer. That tiny step got me in the flow.

Hyperfocus on random stuff, but can't finish what I need to do. Classic irony.
Today I scheduled a “hyperfocus window” for fun work first. Then shifted gears.

ADHD minds crave variety. Mix up routines to keep things fresh. Boredom equals enemy.

Hyperfocus on hobbies rocks. But don’t forget meals and breaks. Set reminders to stay balanced.
May 29, 2025 at 5:06 PM
Executive dysfunction days suck. Ask for help if needed. Teamwork lightens the load.

Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s survival. Take time to recharge. You deserve it, ADHD warrior.
May 27, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Embrace movement breaks. Physical activity boosts focus and mood. Dance like nobody’s watching.
May 26, 2025 at 5:04 PM

ADHD plus perfectionism is a tough combo. Give yourself grace. Done is better than perfect every time.
May 19, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Fidget tools aren’t just toys—they help focus. Pen clicking, stress balls, even doodling calms the mind.
May 16, 2025 at 5:06 PM
Overwhelm hits hard with ADHD. Break it down: What’s one thing you can do right now? Start there.
