Told my son about how you used to be able to get 2 filet o fish sandwiches for 5 bucks during lent & that Apple used to give you a pair of EarPods with your iPhone or iPod & he said with full sincerity “that’s so sad”. He’s right.

If you don’t read old stuff you’ll never discover that people in the olden days had the same thoughts and feelings and dreams and anxieties you do, sometimes articulated differently, sometimes exactly the same way. You are never truly alone in anything and old writings are a neon sign telling you so

This is a victory for academic freedom and education equity.

There was this guy from another school who made a comment to me about my gf (now wife!). His school was in the same county, so I knew there was a small chance I’d see him the counties XC race. I found him, & would purposely slow down for him to catch up then I sped off again did this about 4 times.

There’s a handful of things I wish I was better at as a parent but I’m really happy that one of the intangibles I have is being perfectly fine in dealing with puke. If you’ve got puke of any shade or texture that needs to be dealt with, I’m your man.
