Remembering that one time I bought a book filled with mystery novelist essays and writing tips and the opening immediately took a pot shot at Knox's 5th; something only an amateur of the scene would make fun of. My friend's coworker has an insane "white suburban mom" style name variation but I can't tell you about it because we've looked into it and she is genuinely the only person in the world named this. Genuinely unique name. 1 in 8 billion. Good job

After 3 weeks to the day of daily driving, it happened again. Which is suspicious, as:
1) it's not like I left it sitting like last time. It was just overnight like usual
2) Generally parasitic drain issues don't take THAT long to drain your car. And if they do, daily driving nullifies that.

Woke up and my car was completely out of juice. Got it boosted today and then went for a long drive but hooo boy I hope whatever drained it in last night also doesn't drain it tonight.

Realis metatext to me is like if a guy from the 87th year of our lord wrote an RPG and wanted it to be a genuine simulation of the world but only wrote about how whoever's faith in God was stronger wins their battles because OF COURSE that's how the world works. Why would it work any other way.

There is a Certain Game that I think is selling itself way short design wise because of this notion of "Oh but we need to keep these golden calf's! We need to be a good bridge for people coming from DnD!"

when I was a kid I ended up going to a "Game Design" camp that ended up actually being a narrative design camp where we spent a week in teams making our own Neverwinter Nights module and fuck I long for those days again.
