The fact that every right winger with influence screams "who is paying for all of this" tells you exactly how awash in cash they all are, and how much they rely on that to keep their movement afloat.

This is still my best explanation for why people are so shocked by what is happening in Minneapolis—and why we’re starting to see action from people who were underreacting to everything Trump did a month ago.
Maybe this is wishful thinking, but I suspect the Trump administration is taking a risk by turning the whole news apparatus into state media.
The media was normalizing every fascist escalation. But the gap in coverage around ICE has radicalized a whole city who are shocked it got so bad so fast.

I can’t emphasize enough how shocked my out of state friends and family are when I tell them what has happened in Minneapolis since Renee Good’s murder.
