NO, NO, and NO!!!!
The budget deal in Congress will give ICE another $10 BILLION.

Absolutely not.

ICE is out of control. We must stop this rogue agency’s dangerous abuses of power, not bankroll it.

Truly boggling how corrupt he is, and isn't hiding it, since the Supreme Court gave him his kingship.
Trump bought $1 million in Netflix and Warner Bros. bonds after he said he’d be “involved” in deciding whether to approve their mega-merger.

Antitrust merger reviews should be based on law and facts only—not the president’s investments.

So true! And do you want a robot for your ultrasound????
It doesn't take a genius to realize that when you ban abortion and try to criminalize OBGYNs for practicing medicine, there will be fewer OBGYNs in your state.

Outstanding essay. It's ME first, not America first.
In @nytopinion.nytimes.com

President Trump “is now basically running our country the way he ran his companies — as a one-man show free to make terrible deals. That management style led to six bankruptcy filings by his companies,” our columnist Thomas Friedman writes.
Opinion | Trump’s Politics Are Not America First. They’re Me First.
Donald Trump is the most un-American president in our history. And in his second term, there is no one to constrain his un-American impulses.

Horrifying!!!
WATCH: Student Kenneth Santizo captured ICE and FBI officers stopping a family on their way to church in the Boston suburbs last May.

Agents broke the window, forced Daniel Flores-Martinez to his knees and slammed him to the ground while his children and his wife, a U.S. citizen, sobbed in the car.

YOU MUST WATCH THIS ONE!!!!
WATCH: “How many people with domestic violence convictions are running around, with guns, in our cities, terrorizing people?”

Journalist @laurajedeed.bsky.social was hired as an ICE officer after a 6 minute interview, despite not having completed a background check.

Two concerns: We need to keep protests nonviolent, even when ICE or others try to incite violence. Trump really wants to send in troops. Second: I am concerned about the slogans about ICE. Let's say "Rein in ICE" or something; the "defund the police" mistake cost elections for dems.

Investigate and prosecute political opponents, sell pardons to your rich friends so they can commit crimes with impunity. Authoritarianism isn’t coming, it’s here, whether people realize it or not.

This kind of journalism is why we donate to @ProPublica. They are needed now more than ever!
Chemical companies and their trade organizations have argued that the EPA cannot reevaluate hazardous air pollution rules to account for newly discovered harms if it has revised them once already.

It doesn’t matter if decades have passed or new information has emerged.
Trump’s EPA Could Limit Its Own Ability to Use New Science to Strengthen Air Pollution Rules
In government records that have flown under the radar, the EPA is questioning its legal authority to revise pollution rules more than once when new science shows unacceptable health risks.

Take a look to see what the kindergarten measles vaccination rates are in your area.

So, in "Signalgate", the Inspector General's report says Hegseth shared secret information in an insecure chat app and thus put our troops at risk. We ONLY know this because they stupidly included a journalist in the chat, and he shared the info. Hegseth refused to cooperate at all.

Well said, Senator Murray!
You set the example from the top. Is it "civil" to call a fellow passenger "piggy?"

Always be kind to your fellow passengers as well as airport and airline staff.

In short: don't be like Donald Trump.

About 42 million people get SNAP: 40% children, 1.2 million military veterans, 23,000 active military families and 8 million seniors. Trump and R's are ok with slashing food while he shows off his gold bathroom remodel in the White House and throws a lavish party in Mar a Lago. Let them eat cake!

Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents.

They’ve had their necks kneeled on.

They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear.

At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.

Have we reached the point where we can say the US is in a constitutional crisis? Has American democracy failed? Has the US descended into authoritarianism?

Yes. It is happening. Right now.

Not because of one incident, but a series of moments and choices . . .
It is happening here — and we just witnessed the moment everything changed
History’s path is never linear. But its turns can be very sharp. It is rare to be able to identify the moment when we can say “this is the point at which everything changed”. So have we reached the poi...
