I struggle with "finishing" music, so I have a new idea: I want to finish a "demo" album ASAP. It would be a rough draft that I know isn't up to its full potential, but then as a separate project I could either self-remix or collaborate with someone else to elevate it in ways I can't by myself.

Once in a while I have super hot dreams except I always wake up the moment anything fun starts so I don't actually get to enjoy it. For like 1 second I got fursuit butt in my face though.
I need to get more proactive on making these things happen IRL.

I just solved my own "that's not supported on Linux" problem by successfully modifying an incomplete open source driver to add a missing feature myself. It's kinda crazy that I can just do that.

It's great that I can put Linux on my old iMac that's no longer supported by Apple, but can you imagine how much e-waste would be saved if the same could be done with iPhones and iPads? Especially if, hypothetically, they were legally required to provide adequate documentation for driver development

I remember when spell checks were actually reliable except for really obscure or slang words. Nowadays I'm constantly being gaslit, i.e. questioning if I misspelled "recognizable" and spell check's only suggestion is I must have meant "recognizably." The adjective form does exist, I swear!

I miss when "apps only" mode on google tv devices removed the ads from the home screen. Now apps only means "apps and ads"

I've heard it said that the main downside to Linux is a culture of elitism, experts being condescending toward noobs who need help. I'm no expert and I can't be tech support for everyone, but I would be happy to help some people make the switch with no judgement of their technical skill or whatever.

Windows Updates: Mandatory, we will reboot your computer several times and it will take a while.
Linux Updates: Update if you want, it'll take a minute but you can keep doing whatever you want - no need to reboot.
(Probably not always the case, but so far my Linux updates have been this way.)

I've abandoned Windows personally, but for those who still have to use it this sounds very helpful
"RemoveWindowsAI" is a script created by zoicware, available on GitHub, that does exactly what it says: it remove every AI feature in Windows 11. Do what you wish to do with this information. I'm sharing this because some folks are forced to use Win11 at work or other places for any reasons.

I have a kink that's mostly only talked about as jokes by people who aren't into it and probably don't expect anyone else to be into it. So whenever someone I'm attracted to mentions it I'm like... what if..? But I don't dare admit I want them to do that to me x_x

This is my favorite album of the year, was made by a furry, and it's the perfect time to buy it because Bandcamp won't take a cut today. You can listen free before you buy btw.
Packages requiring a signature never get delivered to my house - even if I'm waiting home all day, they just stick up a missed delivery notice and sneak away without ringing or knocking. So I tried having them hold it at a FedEx location this time.... and it's being repeatedly delayed :(

I put Linux on my gaming PC two weeks ago and haven't touched Windows since. I've been testing out Windows games from Steam, Epic, GOG, EA, and even Amazon, and almost everything just works with no tinkering required beyond installing Heroic Launcher and Lutris (very easy.)

Anyone else having longer than usual side effects from flu and/or covid vaccines this year? I got both a little over a week ago and my body is definitely still struggling with *something* but I dunno if it's that or coincidental timing.
