So excited to be in Vienna for #ESCMID2025 where I will be giving a talk on how our peptides can disrupt K. pneumoniae biofilms.

If you are around this Tuesday come check it out!!!

Really glad I could contribute to this work exploring biofilm formation, mucoidy and tip adhesin diversity in #klebsiella.
For those in #KLEBS2024, I provided a sneak peak of the potential relation between K3 serotype & HMV
This is also my first publication since I joined @cbitoulouse.bsky.social !

Check out our latest publication aligning the MRSN panel biofilm and mucoid phenotypes to the genotypes in npj Biofilms and Microbiomes!

Special thanks to my collaborators on this work

Had a great time at #KLEBS2024 !! Great science, beautiful city, new connections, and caught up with old friends! I was even lucky enough to give a seminar at Institut Pasteur on Friday. Bonus shower at the United club tonight in Newark using my one time pass 🚿🚿

I'm not hopeful that we'll make it out of the current anti-vax craze without first experiencing massive resurgence of preventable infectious disease. People no longer have a lived experience of what happens during outbreaks of measles, polio, smallpox, pertussis, etc.
