Honestly someone just needs to go to Tsuburaya, drop a disgustingly huge amount of money in their lap and tell them "you can make something with a budget again" and we'd probably have a life-changing series like Mebius again after 20 years.
Someone just give them a proper budget to work with.

3. Ultraman Omega (TV series, 2025-26)
This was my first modern (i.e. newer than the 1970s) Ultraman work and while I have plenty of quibbles about the production quality and technical skill on display, I was happy to see that 60 years later Ultraman has not lost sight of what it's about. ❤️
