Asked to describe me, 87% of survey participants selected "idiot gunzel".
I've elected to journey to East Pakenham for a little trip thru that damned tunnel.

And in classic large corporate fashion, the wrong link was used. I did note earlier today once the button worked it was asking me to renew a personal account for 1 person, not a family account, so I gave up for the time being.

Looks like Microsoft are trying to fend off the ACCC case against them over the copilot slop in O365 issue. Mind you it seems Microsoft is hosting the website that is the target of the "switch to classic" button on a 80186 CPU on the far end of a 75 baud modem running over an open wire pole line.

I guess it's now the correct evening to post. For various technical reasons I had a guest spending some time last weekend in the passenger seat of the road motor. Was happy enough waving at everyone but didn't really say anything.

Visited a most magnificent wayfinding sign in Hesket today.

My employer has upgraded my laptop, and it seems we now don't provide a right ctrl key, instead it's now a copilot key. Urgh. Now I need to work out how to fix this rubbish (as it seems I use the right ctrl button all the time).

Bit of a latergram here, another Melbourne signalbox bit the dust last weekend.

We visited a Vietnamese joint this evening in Croydon, and they have the gimmicky delivery robots! This one is extra special as when it goes back to the kitchen it always stops at the counter, politely asks it to move before realising it can move through the gap anyway.

Just watching some admittedly niche YouTube content, and I've discovered the US has some (but probably very few) level crossings with bells, but no flashing lights. Just a yield sign. To me, a bizarre arrangement.

I've recently been getting into bonding as a hobby.

Acquired a MTP promo showbag. I guess they have 10 million of them for various open days and events.

Did something old fashioned today - commuted into the city. However it was to Parliament instead of Southern Crustacean, so as a Burnley group enjoyer I have to stand on the way home 😭

This is a random latepost. The other day we went to see a giraffe. That is all.

I woke up and decided to cause violence (and a bit of engagement to my followers).

I made this meme alignment chart two years ago and spread it on my Twitter, and now I blight you all with it. Gimme your best hot takes.

Was just watching another random YouTube video, this one had some vision of a travelling post office. Anyway now I know where they put all the hate mail.

Here is a backlit bus video from this arvo. Not the usual subject of the lens, but it was going past. At least the headways on this route had a little improvement recently.

Was just watching a random Swiss YouTube vid and I've discovered the existence of these utterly quaint little Swiss shunting tractors.

I approve of these particular critters.

This is a bit of a long shot - but does anyone know what sort of key or tool would open this? I had assumed it was a standard electrical thing but searches have been fruitless.

- Pan toilets, the ones which are emptied by the nightman.
- Walking 1.2 km to school by myself, in grade 1.
- Suburban trains with non power doors.
- Daryl Somers.
What’s a real thing from your childhood that kids these days would find completely foreign?

Like, how we used to be able to walk right up to the gate to meet our family coming off a flight.

Or how we had to pick a spot to meet at the theater BEFORE we went.

Look we all enjoy a good corporate euphemism and this one is a doozy. You might think of it as an "extensive equipment fault" where as I prefer "loss of wheel rail proximity event"

Bad news everyone, not only has the algorithm decided I am now old to have a heart attack (not impossible, I am ancient) but apparently when you are having a heart attack it's important to think about which private hospital to use, so you can maximise those out of pocket costs.

I always find websites with this sort of thing quite silly. Especially when you can just put a silly answer in.

Veins carry electricity.

Checks out.
