The first soluble promethium complex molecule is close to my heart. Please vote!
What do you think was the standout molecule of 2024?

Once again, C&EN editors dug into the depths of the magazine to find the most curious, wondrous, and just plain neat molecules of the past year.

Which one strikes your fancy? cen.acs.org/sections/mot... #chemsky #bluesci #chemistry🧪

It's #quantum, y'all! And what we need, need, need is (more) excitement to encourage #students to pursue quantum #science.

Something sweet I saw while on a lab visit. While explaining her research, the scientist had motioned to a periodic table magnet that had been "decorated" by her kid. 🖍️

Curious question ... Could a move to Bluesky be viewed as the digital equivalent of "moving to Canada" when it's not feasible to actually move? Asking for a friend.

During the Prairie Ridge Ecostation tour last week, I learned that prairies are native to the eastern part of the U.S. and have been almost completely wiped out by development, and that, yes, I have been conditioned to fear nature. A little #prairie time did me some good! #SciWri24

Proud that my first post here is from #SciWri24 in Raleigh where I met a great group of fellow national lab communicators.
