I really don't like systems that force libraries to pay-per-use and I wish libraries themselves were more upfront with users about how much every movie you take out from Hoopla or Kanopy is costing the library.

This is Willie the Bear. He's a major character, a consistent companion to Annie and Sandy for most of LOA vol 3. He's mentioned in the summary prefacing vol 4 but his disappearance isn't mentioned, just like in the strip he vanishes unsung. Can't find anything online from any nerd resources.

Of all the criticisms one can level at the film THE POLAR EXPRESS, the thing that takes me out of it the most is the voice actor who played Mandark on DEXTER'S LAB just doing the flippin' Mandark voice for the one kid.
