If you don’t know how cooked we are. This is where we are at. This pot is boiling, frogs, and we’d better put out the fire and fast. Because that man is not alone in thinking this way. We are all about to be served on platters for oligarchs.

If we don’t talk about it, then it doesn’t exist..climate change you said? We don’t know what that is.

The website that hosts the most recent edition of the National Climate Assessment has gone dark.
The report is the most influential source of information about how climate change affects the US.
The White House took down the nation's top climate report. You can still find it here

Budzinski: Families making over $700,000 a year will see a boost of $12,000 almost entirely from tax cuts. Shockingly, households making $23,000 a year or less are set to lose about $1600 a year, mostly due to deep cuts to Medicaid and food assistance

Yikes. Karoline Leavitt's statement basically completely confirms CNN's reporting. This is really bad for the White House and should be a major scandal. Trump lied. Again.

Raise your voice for every baby who shouldn’t go hungry.

Raise your voice for every senior who shouldn’t be kicked out of a nursing home.

Raise your voice for every American who shouldn’t lose their health care.

Make those calls. Pressure your senator. Keep it up.

By the way, the US striking Iran’s nuclear facilities and infrastructure gives Russia the green light to strike Ukraine’s nuclear facilities & infrastructure. This is another reason it’s forbidden under international law. Trump is escalating danger everywhere.

#RepublicanPlaybook:
1) enrich the rich
2) destroy the economy for the working class
3) enter into an unnecessary war in the Middle East.

Once we’re out of this, I want to see the US invest HEAVILY in #education. Free schooling and free secondary schooling.

And obviously free #healthcare too

If you were too young in 2003 here is what Bush told the American people:

1) The Iraq War won’t cost a lot of money
3) We won’t need a lot of troops
4) We’ll bring peace and freedom to Iraq
5) We’ll find WMDs
6) We’ll be welcomed as liberators
7) It will be easy
8) It won’t take long

All lies.

Celebrate Juneteenth today! This is still a new holiday- and one I am glad has not been swept away. For many years the whitewashing of American History kept many of us from knowing this story.

Here is an uplifting story about carrying forward culture and history. We need to celebrate and remember.
On Juneteenth, she celebrates the role quilts may have played in Underground Railroad
Edith Edmunds, who is 99 years old, the art of quilt making is inextricably linked to the Black struggle for freedom. That's why she plans to be sewing Thursday on Juneteenth.

I’m so disheartened about the recent posts from the #EPA. That organization has done so much for the environment and human health. And now it’s taken over to be “economically friendly” to big corporations avoiding important regulations. #savetheEPA
