City fish (the big fish found in fishing holes in hub cities) have historically been fairly uncomplicated catches, so the fact that the most elusive fish of 7.4 discovery is a city fish is really interesting.
(It also has three viable baits, while most of the 7.4 fish had only two or one, but still)

The fact that we’re on day 7 of fish discover with two fish still not found is pretty fun. Fish “difficulty” and the potential of narrower conditions tends to rise with later patches, but that depends on the design of the fish too.

In #FFXIV - this guy is Hydro Louvar and Gondola Louvar, caught in the final DT zone.
For Day 22 of #25DaysOfFishmas we have one of my favourites from the whole list, another big, pelagic weirdo that I've been obsessed with for many years now. This is Luvaris imperialis, the Louvar, a rarely encountered oceanic beast found across the Indo-Pacific and in parts of the Atlantic.
