You've no doubt noticed that a lot of the games I post about are from the 360/PS3 era. Back then developers often skipped releasing on PC. Microsoft especially was pretending it didn't exist even though it was their platform. Dark times.

The Settlers 1 was released in Germany as an Amiga exclusive on June 30th 1993. It was then released on DOS a year later. In something around 12 subsequent releases, the series never returned to the beloved Amiga.
