My local Kroger has their discount mecca quite literally in the hallway to their public bathroom. Even though those discount stickers pop up everywhere around the store, I like to brag to my husband about all of the great, cheap shit I found "in the bathroom aisle."

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

I thoroughly enjoyed a few negronis, beef marrow, and some amazing people watching while dining at the bar. I then took the last train back to the airport.

I arrived at JFK a few years ago for an overnight layover and instead of staying at the terminal I stowed my luggage and took the train into the city, nearly caught the last elevator up the Empire State Bldg, but then got myself to Bleeker St and found myself a lovely bistro at 1am...
