A rustic bridge that still sees daily travel. Soft in the cool winter air. It awaits a crossing...I hope 2026 is better for everyone. Poem included by Hamsa Elfarash titled "New Beginnings" It's only the beginning now, A pathway yet unknown, At times the sound of other steps, Sometimes we walk alone. The best beginnings of our lives, May sometimes end in sorrow, But even on our darkest days, The sun will shine tomorrow So we must do our very best, Whatever life may bring, And look to the winter as a guest, To smell the breath of spring. Into each life will always come, A time to start a new, A new beginning in each heart, As fresh as morning dew. The past has its secrets, but the present does too, In order to establish the future, we must do what we do, In time we will find it and make happiness flow, We just need patience in the beginning and in time we'll grow. The years will never take away, Our chance to start a new, It's only the beginning now, So dreams can still come true.

A soft black and white photo of a small copse of trees. Is it a path leading to another world? If not, why are so many people running towards it? "Fairy-Land" poem by Edgar Allan Poe Dim vales- and shadowy floods- And cloudy-looking woods, Whose forms we can't discover For the tears that drip all over! Huge moons there wax and wane- Again- again- again- Every moment of the night- Forever changing places- And they put out the star-light With the breath from their pale faces. About twelve by the moon-dial, One more filmy than the rest (A kind which, upon trial, They have found to be the best) Comes down- still down- and down, With its centre on the crown Of a mountain's eminence, While its wide circumference In easy drapery falls Over hamlets, over halls, Wherever they may be- O'er the strange woods- o'er the sea- Over spirits on the wing- Over every drowsy thing- And buries them up quite In a labyrinth of light- And then, how deep!- O, deep! Is the passion of their sleep. In the morning they arise, And their moony covering Is soaring in the skies, With the tempests as they toss, Like- almost anything- Or a yellow Albatross. AS pink dahlia stares straight at the camera. The sun radiating off the petals as it stretches for the day. A railroad bridge halfway through a modernization. The left half is decrepit and decaying. The right half is clean and neat, and working. But they still lead to the same destinations. "Dream Train I" by Charles Wamuti A ride outstanding it was among others, Long enough but seemingly just a second, Many ordinary people around me save for a special one, You made it just like the two of us in the whole world. Never before had i travelled by train, But you gave me memories i’ll never forget, What in the world would i do to repay that gift? It was like a dream no one wants to wake from! The words you said tugged on like an endless lyric, They were like cold water to a thirsty spirit, They gave me so much comfort and showed you care, You were so pleasant to talk and listen to. You made my heart skip beats as you were close by me, Yet at the same time i felt i needed you right there, Nowhere else in the world would i have rather been, It means alot to me that you were in that train! The same way the sun bursts across darkness at dawn, So did your smiles and laughter brighten that hour, A mystique aura you have revealed to me, I wonder when the next train is blowing! !

For all the years I've lived thus long, are merely first chords of a song. The song of standing on my own, just me to face the great unknown. The song of having to ignite, the flame that makes my future bright. The song of success sings at last, my future path set hard and fast. Marching at my own pace seems, the only way to realise dreams. Schooling years just begun; those teenage years one more re-run. The song of study as I yearn to know those things still yet to learn. College, Uni, all so new, reviewing actions, see things through. Equipped at last for the big OE, decision time; where shall it be? The song of bustle, in some city, toil is tough; now that's a pity. The song of outdoors hot and dry, always free beneath blue sky. Songs from memory call me home, call for me no more to roam. Home once more among the fold, dormant thoughts yet to unfold. Meet the one with whom to share, secret moments all too rare. The song of partner, my own family, contented days and years to be. The song of children's cries of glee, excitement building joy the key. The song within of being free, found at last what's meant too be.

A small fusia dahlia opens its petals to the world. "To Fully Live" by Eric Cockrell freedom is not white, it is not Christian, it is neither liberal nor conservative.... not bound by capitalistic values, it is not served at gunpoint to those with differing views... it is all colors, all faiths, openminded and intelligent, beyond all political views; places human need in front of profit, and celebrates diversity! it is the basic right of the living to fully live!
