I've been working on something new since August 2025 and have decided to finally spill the beans:
Introducing "Project Echo", a deterministic Record & Replay tool for PS5:

"Claude go take a dump"

is now an executable task for your agents.
What a time to be alive (I'm crying btw).

I touched grass for a few days
what is clawdbot?
what is moltbot?
what is openclaw?
how will it be called tomorrow? 🫩

So far I have heard nothing much substantial (except it is being a security disaster). Feels like another hype thing. And I'm beginning to dread hype.

Im gonna go touch grass again

Last year the place I work at gave us some time to just play around with anything AI.
I tested different agents in order to almost exclusively vibe code a little web game called Memorhythm.

Its supposed to test your memory and sense of rhythm and its kinda fun :>

Fantastic read! 👏🏻👏🏻
It really captures the vision of a shared web where apps are merely means to an end instead of data owners. 💪🏻
Let’s get him a Ko-fi and hope he makes more of this!

CSS masonry (aka grid-lanes) has two orientations: rows and columns.

I'm trying to think of good metaphors...

Row is easy: a brick wall, that's where the masonry term comes from.
Column: many call it waterfall, but trying to put it into an image doesn't work. Motorway works a lot better.

Finally came around to reading @samwho.dev's article about prompt caching which - turns out - is only around 10% about prompt caching because in order to understand it you need a good idea on how LLMs work 😆

As per usual Sam nailed it 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks for the great insights!

Friendly reminder that fireworks scare animals to literal death (besides multiple other reasons they suck). I respect people having traditions and all but just like gathering to kill hundreds of dolphins I‘d like to nudge society to reflect on what traditions are worth fighting for 🙏🏻

For her?🥺

BIG oof 😅
Just coming from a service call with vodafone because I had no internet for two days.

Apparently *another* guy with the same name in my area got a new router. The employee that activated it for them identified them using - no joke - their name and general area... he found me instead,

great little cheat sheet 👀
My underrated Linux pick is the lsof command. It tells you exactly which files are open and which processes are using them. Insanely powerful and useful in everyday troubleshooting 😎👇 #cybersecurity #infosec #sysadmin

I'm currently playing soad's Toxicity on my Ukulele next to my dog. In a few hours some friends will arrive to play some DnD.

In light of WebGPU being available in all major browsers now!

check out this neat @threejs.org fluid sim example.
It might inspire you to go nuts with WebGPU yourself 😊

Ever since sonnet 4.5 (& Composer1, HAIKU, Gemini 3, Codex) I'm starting to actually feel more productive when using AI in our work codebases.

I established a set of rules and workflows inside Cursor that really help me focus on the difficult/interesting tasks 🤩

I recently stumbled upon getdeploying.com which offers great comparisons between different services.

Might help you decide between what feature set / pricing model fits you best!

I feel like companies building/integrating agents for their own products should just provide solid CLIs/MCPs instead. Focus on the product, and let agent builders leverage those interfaces. Am I off here? 🤨

Was goofing around with a functional approach to a 'retryable' construct today and learned a few things 🤓
Heres the concept:

- provide a 'retryable' function taking a function (foo)
- it provides a 'retry' function that interrupts the current foo's execution and re-executes foo

web animation performance?

a new resource entered my go-to references:
motion.dev/blog/web-ani...
the article is (understandably) motion leaning but still provides a very good understanding of the underlying principles (also @motion.dev is just really good)

3 weeks ago we at the @programmier.bar had our first Web- & AI conference 🎉
We had great speakers like @rich-harris.dev (fanboy moment), @mirjam-diala.bsky.social talking about testing and training dogs (I mean come on! 🐶❤️) and @nico.dev showing us how he recreated KITT 🤯🚗

I am very fond of the 'tree' program. If you're also in the terminal a lot and like to get a quick overview of a certain dir you can enhance it very easily by using:
-C (for colorized output)
--gitignore (apply .gitignore to the search (!))
--dirsfirst (to sort dirs on top)

Kinda bummed that @rive.app now guards exports behind a paid tier with no option for students to circumvent this 😔

The reality is that students might not be able to afford it thus I can no longer recommend it to my students much less integrate it into student projects.
