5. BTW, Paramount's legal analysis is incorrect. CFIUS still has jurisdiction to review the transaction regardless of whether the Saudis and others have nominally waived governance rights. There are plenty of other ways for huge investors to influence a corporation.

Russia cannot be trusted to follow a treaty on its own, but what can be part of a treaty that would help make sure Russia will not attack Ukraine again? Any peace plan must ensure that Ukraine continues to have a strong military.
