The first episode did its job of hooking me. The 2nd and 4th episodes were literally TNG era episodes with younger faces. The 3rd episode was meh, but that’s Trek for you. You’re either going to have the best hour of television ever or begging the prophets for that hour of your life back.

The first episode did its job of hooking me. The 2nd and 4th episodes were literally TNG era episodes with younger faces. The 3rd episode was meh, but that’s Trek for you. You’re either going to have the best hour of television ever or begging the prophets for that hour of your life back.

Nice seeing love for Lauryn Hill on this app after years of her being used as a punchline for her punctuality. I saw her years ago at the Portsmouth, VA pavillion... she was 20 minutes late, but she paid it back tenfold by performing for hours. I got tired like three hours in lmao.

Star Trek: The Next Generation’s “Inner Light” is a lowkey depressing episode. Picard lived an entire life with children and grandchildren only to need to bury those memories and resume his life as a federation starship captain. Imagine living a fulfilling life and waking up to these current events

Happened to me right after I got out the military. A back issue rendered me unable to work, burned my savings, ended up on the street. I’m living well now after having to claw my way back but it could just as well happen to me again.

I went back to X due to sports discourse (the slander) being better than here… tbh mainly for the Josh Allen slander. But since I’ve been gone from that app so long I don’t have a need to open it, it even feels like the sports tweets fell off a bit in the past few years.

Traffic on this site is slower than last year, but that’s what always happens when there is a major movement from X, some will stick, most will taper off, and that’s fine. But comparing X’s numbers to here is not a good experiment, I guarantee half of those likes are bots.

I thought this wouldn’t bother me but Netflix’s AI upscaling of A Different World is awful. I’m a person who likes looking at certain details in scenes and jumbled AI generated lettering in the background really hurts this.
