My prediction is that all business will be delayed just enough so that the House cannot vote on the discharge petition for releasing the Epstein files before the new term starts and a new one needs to be filed. Or, will use these negotiations to flip someone away from signing it.
The Senate will continue the long slog toward reopening the government.
