Really enjoyed sharing NALDIC’s views on the new Ofsted Inspection Toolkit’s focus on EAL pupils. A general consensus that it’s a step in the right direction, but that there’s a lot to do to fully support our EAL pupils and their educational outcomes. Thank you to every who attended and contributed!
The first 2025-26 ITE Teacher Educator SIG meeting focused on NALDIC’s view of Ofsted’s 2025 Inspection Toolkit, its potential implications for ITE, and where to go next for teacher educators re. relevant research and pedagogy. Join us in February for our next SIG: naldic.org.uk/naldic-event...

Deeply shocked by Israel’s deliberate killing of the Al Jazeera correspondent Anas al-Sharif, his colleague Mohammed Qreiqeh and cameramen Ibrahim Zaher, Mohammed Noufal and Moamen Aliwa. Israel has now killed at least 186 journalists in this war.

A really clear and helpful breakdown of the Supreme Court legal case, highlighting what it did/didn’t say, as well as the political cowardice and the horrifying media frenzy that has followed its verdict.
