As veterans, we stand unequivocally against the deployment of national guard troops across the US. We are not trained to be peacekeeping forces; we are not trained to police our own citizens.

For those unconditionally cheering the attacks on Iran, remember that our early strikes in Afghanistan and Iraq were “successful”. But we ended up getting dragged into costly wars that created more terrorists than we killed. The American people haven’t forgotten that.

The effects of being on a starvation diet are starting to hit. Walking around NYC is much more difficult, and the hunger tends to stick around longer. This is nothing compared to the horrible reality Palestinians face though. Israel is forcing them to travel miles for evacuation or for aid.
