Every kid in Texas deserves the right to live on a Safe Neighborhood Streets with 20 mph speed limit and design speed.

Tell #txlege you want to end the ban on Safe Neighborhood Streets!
Once again I’ll be at the Texas House Committee on Transportation Thu morning asking #txlege to end the ban keeping cities from providing Safe Neighborhood Streets, like counties can give the kids in unincorporated neighborhoods.

It was an exciting day in Dallas w/ the Planning Commission hearing what seems overwhelming support for eliminating minimum parking mandates to allow people to afford a variety of housing & lifestyle options.

Today, Texans remember loved ones killed in traffic crashes. Some gather on the South Steps of the Capitol at 5pm. Others will 4,167 steps to remember those killed in the last year. Some post in honor of those hurt in crashes. Some change policies to end the traffic deaths. #WDoR2024

Next Sunday, 11/17, is World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. @farmandcity.bsky.social will host the Texas vigil on the South Steps of the Texas Capitol.

After the vigil we will take 4,167 steps around the Capitol honoring each person killed in 12 months of Texas car crashes.
