Photo taken in The New Forest ~ Hampshire A female Common Redstart is a small, energetic bird, similar in size to a robin, with a mostly plain, soft brownish-grey body, paler buff-white belly, and a distinctive, bright rusty-orange tail that she often quivers. 2026 begins and here I am posting in the first day though the ending of 2025 wasn't that great. This world needs peace and more kindness. I hope 2026 is a year that brings it.
