What does the Nakatomi Corporation actually do?

Apparently, it's one of those bits of everything companies.

Yes, it's in Disney+ and yes I randomly hit The Google.

A small part of me wishes I'd gone yo to the Cairngorms at some point over the holidays .

I know geopolitical situations are always a bit unique to each country, but I can't help but hear what Canada keeps doing in response to the US and think..

..respect.

There was some Burning Man vlogs on in the background yesterday as I finished a book.

Hmm, yeah, it's sort of like a Travelling Carnival but for those that like EDM, drugs, walking around naked and being fascinated by, what seems to me, the simplest of things.

I can climb this basic dragon!

Today has been funny 'did you not do 2-3 hours research' before you spent multiples of thousands of pounds day.

Travel is sometimes hilarious.

The funny thing about the book I am ready at the moment is it has quotes from florid commentators of ancient times.

I mean, they're basically very good social media posts. A bit of wit, push the envelope a bit on a social issue, a country or a historic moment.

I guess nothing changes in a way.

So, on a video I talked about how my brain works on a different level when travelling than it does at home .

It's like Lucy or Limitless it is literally that different. So I was questioning why.

It's natural, people might say, you're disconnected from daily life.

It's more subtle than that. /1

I always have a mild fascination with Burning Man which I don't jump into for the most part..

..I think the fascination comes from it being "so not me" that it's like seeing some sort of congregation of alien beings.

Fallout might be suffering from the seasonal gap .

After the first episode of S2 I am..whatever .

I'll try again when it's all released .

Interesting. This may not be a conspiracy.

One of the oddities of The Might Nine (which is amazing) is I always had to search for it.

But Vox Machina suddenly kept getting put front and centre on my Amazon Prime Video as if it was 'new'.

Theory now is they somehow intertwined them.

It was odd.

There is a secret episode of Stranger Things that got cut due to Netflix..

..of course there is.

Is there nothing people don't make conspiracy theories about these days? It's weird, it's like some sort of natural direction these days.

It's just everyone descending into madness.

People who. Don't answer your questions so you can support their activity.

Just insist on you doing what they need to do what they want.

Then....

...can you tell me why this didn't work.

No. You refused to engage in a way that makes it efficient for me to do that.

Well, we should say that 😀

Looks at Viking Cruises around the Great Lakes.

Laments the fact they are just obscenely prohibitive solo.

Alas some things are off limits due to my status .

If the state pension is going to cease to exist or be means tested they really start to need to communicate that to people..

..and ideally only to those under 30 (people may differ in exact age) as you can't pull that shit in people late in the day .

I can now inflate my tyres on my 'drive'.

This is like a modern miracle.

God, I hate the 'at the pump inflation machine'.

Sometimes the language ChatGTP uses jumps into the very creepy territory.

The dawning content that we are on our own in a less stable world is, well, you have to view it as hilarious.

It's been obvious for fracking eons that the world was consolidating into blocks and we had a very custom and bespoke deal in a block we defined.

And, yet, you pushed to leave it.

Things I learned this weekend. Having to wear vari-focal glasses doesn't exactly ruin my ability to read off a teleprompter effortlessly and naturally (I'm a bit proud of myself that I got that skill). Still, it makes me feel slightly less than perfect, which annoys me.

Oh well...age.

Season one X Files is on in the background. You forget the level of intelligent debate between two professionals that was layered in that show.
December 27, 2025 at 8:25 PM
I sense a Twitter rumbling . I shall check what it is at some point.

It's like something happened in a distant galaxy at this point.

Read another Pluribus discussion.

Jeez as a Gen X person I find the deep support and better way of life advocates for the Hive Mind the strangest thing in current fiction .

It's not just relative moral arguments but accepting it's the right existence.

Plan was to get four videos filmed today .

Only managed one but..

..I have also got that video completely edited and I think I finally found a permanent light arrangement which really works .

The second will make 'studio' setup much more dynamic and less of a hassle.

So, sort of a win.
