It is humanly impossible to eat just one Reese‘s peanut butter cup. What are other food items in this category?

I basically watch 99% of all sporting events rooting for the underdog, unless the underdog is on my list of "I will forever root against you" teams. Is this what everyone does? Please only respond to confirm my assumption.

It is the third season of a show I didn't know existed, starring a person I didn't know existed, who recently went through a very public breakup with a famous musician I didn't know existed, causing controversy among affinity groups I didn't know existed. So, pretty much just another day online.

May I stay tender to all that is beautiful, to sparrow song, sunsets and toddler smile. May I find the tender moments in every day, and if nothing seems tender May I hold space for the possibility.

My next book is comedic fiction. My agent and former publisher ain’t touching this one. I just don’t feel like I want to put in the energy and time to get rejected pursuing another agent or publisher. Should I just self-publish or pursue endless rejection?

On behalf of Gen X, please stop updating the computers and phones so I can visit my in-laws and parents without spending half of my time showing them how to disable a new feature.

I didn't see the Northern Lights yesterday because I didn't know which streaming service they were on.

A great way to build an audience is to talk and write about stuff that confirms people's preconceived notions.

It's the Bible study and cops-at-a-large-table shift for this coffee shop. They will eventually clear out for homeschool moms and the old men grumbling table. And then there are the laptop junkies sprinkling the corners, justifying their overlong presence with a single cup of coffee.

I am immeasurably thankful for the provision of God. Preaching at Enumclaw’s Hope Lutheran in November and loving this gracious and kind congregation.

FUNKO has terrible customer service. I ordered $90 in gift vouchers from them a month ago and have received nothing. Even after sending 4 emails requesting they fix this problem. No number to call! They’ve taken my money and given me nothing.

Sometimes you just wait with open arms. Better to yearn for reconciliation than to accept the loss.

I once was the guest on a podcast that lasted 80 minutes, and the host told me she forgot to press record. She never rescheduled. Now I think this is what she did when the guest isn't any good. Who can know?

Is it wrong for me to say that the television team for the World Series, especially John Smoltz, is just not very fun? Like, I don't think I'd want to go to an actual game with Smoltz. Ok analysis, just sort of stern and unfun.

"Like waking up from the longest dream..." is one of my favorite song lyrics. Faith feels like this to me as God reveals Himself to us, as if we are waking up. From glory to glory, amen and amen.

For me, my HDHD is always pushing me past this moment into the moment to come. Even in the most enjoyable shared moments, I am already thinking about the moment after, moving ahead, to some other time, place, and feeling than the one I am experiencing. 1/2

Oh arrogant prophet, your certainty will one day decay with your body and become dust. Surround yourself with fools, but they will not rescue you from your fate. Worthless words with no eternal echoes.

I’m convinced that some of your God given dreams will not be accomplished in this place.

At every table of old men at your local coffee shop, there is always one cackler. His voice shall ring out for all to hear.
