Currently interested in effective strategies for curing type 1 diabetes, nuclear engineering, uncertainty quantification and predictive modelling. I know, a weird combo 🤪
Injections per day, probably average at about 10 - few correcting doses. I never had a pump and no longer seek one due to other future plans. But it varies. ALSO, the Novo pens are god awful for errors so they often come up with -- errors even though insulin was injected 😒 #t1d #injections

Despite the highs, I do actually have good time in range (though a lot of work!) - as good as I'm willing to get it until I cure it. 😌 #t1d

BEHOLD the pizza trap, this is why t1d tend not to have it too often. You have to inject multiple times and become resistant to insulin for a few hours, but only after a few hours have passed since you ate. You have to get dragged in the mud a few times to appreciate the many dials of control. #t1d
