Why isn't MSM reporting on ALL the ways Republicans fail the American people? Every show, every hour, numbingly repeats what was already said by their paid talking "analysts." It's so lazy of them. MSM, be BRAVE, focus on details We the People need to hear in order to make informed decisions.

The "hemisphere" and "Monroe Doctrine" and "backyard" language comes from Russia - it's part of an old strategy to encourage Trump to seize Venezuela, then to let Putin seize Ukraine. Russia has been pushing this since 2018, and really accelerated in recent weeks. When did you notice it?
The cynics think today's attack on Venezuela is staged and transactional. Maduro is allied with Putin, but in 2019 Putin offered Trump a swap: Russia cedes Venezuela and gets Ukraine. (See Fiona Hill's testimony in Trump's first impeachment trial, h/t @davetroy.com). Even Maduro may be in on it. 2/
