VICTORY: Governor Ayotte just vetoed a bill that would have rolled back critical protections for transgender and gender nonconforming Granite Staters in our state’s anti-discrimination laws.

This affirms what we know to be true: hate has no place in the Granite State.

NH House Republicans just voted against giving Granite Staters a choice on ICE human warehouses in their communities. Republicans continually use the terms “federal overreach” and “local control” but refuse to stand up for our communities when it really matters. #NHPolitics

Press Release: Republicans Pass Bill Requiring Colleges to Let Anyone Carry Guns on Campus #NHPolitics

Allowing guns on campus does nothing to increase safety. But what it will do is increase the risk of incidents involving firearms, including accidents, suicides, and homicides. In 2018, a Republican-majority legislature rejected a similar bill. I hope our Republican-majority senate will have the courage to do the same."

A great morning for Democracy in Exeter! At least 40 folks came to the 'bridge viz' despite the cold, and many others attended the deliberative session, supporting town warrant articles including a citizen petition calling for voucher/EFA program accountability. Thank you all! #nhpolitics
