Exeter City Council is currently unaccountable to the public having cancelled democracy. The public should have a say in key decisions which affect them (such as cancelling elections!). This petition calls for strengthening local democracy, not weakening it:

Cancelling elections for personal gain is corrupt, not to mention that it denies 140,000 people democracy.
