Today marks the 13th anniversary of the greatest dream had by anyone ever. On the morning of Nov 12th 2012, I woke up having dreamt that once a year, every year Liam Neeson and I would get together, hang out, smoke fine cigars and drink top-shelf tequilas. It was a wondrous thing.

Economic power is one of the last tools that the majority has to make their presence felt. It was mass cancellations of Disney+, Hulu and ESPN that brought Jimmy Kimmel back. We need to do this more to start to regain some measure of control on the cost of living.

This should be obvious but if your business model relies on not paying your staff enough to live on and denying them basic benefits then these staff members unionizing and campaigning for better wages and benefits are not the problem. You are the problem.

When I go to the gym I'm always quiet. I just do my thing and leave. Inside though I'm screaming. "Fucking use cuffs!" "Stop dropping shit like you've just broken a world record!" "Full range of movement!"

As we sit here seeing people attack artists for statements they made at Glastonbury last weekend we must remember they are not the problem. Bob Vylan and Kneecap made artistic and moral decisions to send a forceful message calling for the end to the genocide in Gaza.

The best way to save money when shooting useless celebrities into space is to just leave them up there.

Everyone on Signal is now casually checking the app to make sure they're not receiving top secret Pentagon information texts from Pete Hegseth.

Things I never thought I'd hear on a podcast but have today: 1. DJ Assault lyrics quoted in a news podcast. 2. Scott Galloway choosing who he'd f*ck/marry/k*LL out of Bezos, Zuckerberg and Musk.

Watching the Superbowl I can't help but feel a disconnect between all of the adverts preaching peace, love and tolerance and the shit that Trump and his cronies are pulling on a daily basis.

Finally binned off my Twitter. Hadn't used it since the last World Cup and it's just a right-wing cesspool. I refuse to even leave myself the option of engaging with that human bin fire Elon Musk any more.

For my first post I would like to observe that folks on Facebook and Threads are really going all in to take advantage of Meta's new approach to content moderation.
