Last night I realised that I should have included a character and a storyline already in Book Two, and I can either: go back and add them now or wait until draft two. And as much as I know it should be the latter, I'm tempted to do the former. Someone stop me.

I caught myself thinking that the last 6 months or so have been a blur and asking myself what exactly I've been doing all this time, and then I remembered that I've written well over 100K words in a planned trilogy, in addition to completing 4 rounds of edits.

Sometimes I remember that I initially intended to do all of The Blessed in Zora's POV and am grateful that my brain abandoned the idea. Writing Iluaneh's chapters is such a joy, she may have accidentally become my Ultimate Favourite Baby*.
