If DeSantis allows this "Alligator Alcatraz" to be built, he will lose any shred of Everglades credibility he once had. This is the site of the defeated Everglades Jetport, surrounded by wetlands. Marjory Stoneman Douglas founded @foreverglades.bsky.social in 1969 to protect this very site.
