There was plenty of #cheer when the Almoral girls golf team woke up on the #morning of the first day of the state tournament.
It was Almoral's first ever appearance at the state meet and the beautiful May day made life darn near perfect.

There was a Cascade mother when I was with the papers who always told me I was doing a great job.
At the same time, she called and emailed my editor (and one of my best friends) about how we didn't give Cascade enough coverage.

1 year & 11 days sober. I almost didn’t come into work—I feel so bad. but I just told myself I don’t have to be perfect, just present.
I did get the second chapter of my book finalized yesterday so that’s a victory (to put lightly, I feel dread just thinking about the book). onwards.
