As a mother these headlines are devastating. How do we look our children in the eye and talk about accountability, being a good person, not cheating, being kind to others and whatever other life lessons we hope to teach when for 9 years they see over and over zero accountability around them
A dereliction of duty. Even accepting the Presidential immunity arguments in their entirety, Trump should be sentenced and then the sentence suspended while he is President so the appeals can continue and be complete for when he is not President.

Thoughts on "echo chambers."
Twitter was one anyway and had, in fact, become a gigantic echo chamber in itself - full of racist arseholes shouting nonsense and sucking up to Musk.
If I'm in an echo chamber, I at least want to be surrounded by intelligent people saying interesting things.
