🚫TikTok & Meta failed to grant researchers adequate access to public data.
🚫Meta failed to provide simple ways to notify illegal content and to allow users to challenge moderation decisions.
This is a duty, not a choice.

Ik heb zo’n medelijden met WhatsApp gebruikers. Dat je op een zonnige zaterdagochtend de privacy nonsense van Meta moet doorspitten om erachter te komen welke persoonsgegevens en privécommunicatie Meta je nú weer aan het afpakken is. Ik sprak erover met Trouw.

Mijn opiniestuk over domme AI-hype-stukjes op (o.a.) televisie, perfect verbeeld door Klöppings verhaal over ChatGPT als psycholoog. Wat zulk commentaar dom maakt is niet eens zozeer een verkeerd begrip van de technologie zélf, maar totale onkunde over de echte wereld.

De Nederlandse overheid blijft op Instagram, Facebook en X, zegt @MinPres Dick Schoof. Vijf maatschappelijke organisaties roepen de overheid op om te stoppen met de sociale media omdat de moederbedrijven "onbeschaamd" op zoek zijn "naar politieke macht".
