Already finding some answers during last week book launch event @etui.bsky.social . Speakers insights on a variety of case studies point to a clear direction: union renewal is essential to scale associational power and organizational capacity across fragmented workplaces.
How to advocate for ecological reconversion of fossil industries through public-commons ownership in a context of unstable or uncertain demand for ecological production?

How to unionise and build movements around so called "unorganisable" but ecological/socially necessary sectors such as care?

"A care-centred just transition, therefore, is not about adding care to an existing energy-focused plan. It is about a paradigm shift [...] where the satisfaction of universal human and ecological needs becomes the primary objective of political and economic life."
An essential report that highlight how Care workers, are essential to sustaining people, communities & the planet. This report shows why their rights, needs & knowledge must be at the center of the JUST TRANSITION. #JustTransition #CareWork @stefaniabarca.bsky.social www.unrisd.org/en/library/p...
